Description
VINIFICATION
The year 2017 was hot and dry, imposing an early harvest in order to maintain the freshness characteristic of the Coche. The harvest started in late August and lasted until the beginning of September. After a selection of grapes in the vineyard, they were transported by refrigerated truck to the winery, where a second sorting was carried out. During the night, the grapes were pressed gently and the must was decanted for about 24 hours. The alcoholic fermentation took place in 228l French oak barrels, mostly used.
TASTING NOTES
The wine shows a very intense and deep mineral aspect. It is very complex in aroma, with excelent notes of toast from the barrel and fine herbs perfectly integrated into the citrus and slightly floral profile. With a lot of presence in the mouth, it is very thin and delicate in the notes of white fruit and some spices. It is bulky, without being fat, with a good concentration and with the wood in full balance. Very complex finish, thin and slightly salty. A white, to be enjoyed in a Burgundy type glass.
